Salt, Sand and Snow

Yes I still haven´t "finished" Bolivia yet, although I am already enjoying supermarkets, ´terrasjes´ on the plaza, and the fact that people think I am a native here in Argentina. However, it would be a crime to withhold you the truely unique nature around Uyuni. And Señor Hans may slowly become "Gordo", he´s still as true and loyal to his blog audience as to his nose hairs.

So what happened ? Together with Monique, who I met on the bus from Potosí, I booked a 4 day tour to the Salar de Uyuni (the largest salt lake in the world) and the Reserva Eduardo Avaroa, which lies in the southwestern corner of Bolivia.

This area is huge and rough, and although I *am* walking to Ushuaia, we did this one in a red Toyota Landcruiser. I will not waste many more words, except "Lying Cheating Tour Agency", "Senseless Butt (again)", and "Thermal Heaven". But it was all worth every hassle, agony and centavo.

Let There Be Pictures ...

I will not comment on the woman or other readers may think we (your friends and family) are checking them all out.
(but I like the way your clothes match!)
